How Kinesiology Can Help You Release Self-criticism & Other Inner Negativity

How we think of ourselves is very important – it is our mind that we spend the most time listening to after all, it is our own mind that we go to bed with at night. A lot of those thoughts can be self-critical, and they seem to be mostly automatic, unchangeable, and utterly convincing, particularly when we are stressed or overly tired, and only quieten when distracted or asleep!

How we relate to ourselves is mirrored by how others relate to us too. I say this quite often to my clients – to improve your relationships with others start with you, and improve how you treat yourself first.

I have made a list of the negative ‘selfs’ we might carry, they include: self-sabotage, self-hate, self-isolation, self-criticism, self-blame, self-judgement, self-recrimination, self-destruction and guilt, shame, envy and regret.

These feelings are damaging and alienating. There can be many reasons why we feel disappointment or hostility towards ourselves, and the degree to which we are aware of this varies.

The present level of self-criticism can be measured using muscle response testing by percentage – from 0 to 100. Your energy can tell me what kinesiology balancing tools to employ to reduce this. The aim is to bring it down to 0%.

When working with one particular female client, the priority was to discover her level of self-sabotage (it was high), and I worked to reduce it. The next priority negative self to reduce was self-hate, which surprised her. I was to go to a particular memory when she was in her early 30s, and do a few kinesiology corrections from there. I have been finding with my clients that emotional memories can be the key to releasing negative concepts of self that are stuck. Sometimes we have to look back briefly to really move forward in our lives.

Having done this clearing work she feels a lot freer and happier, and has had lots of new ideas for her business. She’s very grateful! And it’s been easier to slip into detox mode when she feel the need to.

If you feel that you could benefit from releasing inner negativity, or are curious about who you are without the resident naysayer voice let me know. This work can be done in person or remotely, online.
