Worried About Your Mental Health? How Kinesiology Can Help

Do you remember times in your life when, having slept well, you wake feeling purposeful, content, and closely connected to loved ones, and then you rise from bed certain the day will be full of colour and possibilities?

Those times can be all too fleeting for many of us.

Insomnia, difficulty getting out of bed on a grey morning is often the norm, and to get out of bed for what? Aches and pains, the familiar discontentment, boredom, loneliness, a heavy weight sensation on the chest, the constant gnawing away at your nerves that is anxiety’s speciality.

And what can be done to change, when so little support is available?

One approach you may like to try is Kinesiology.

Pronounced Kin - easy – ology, this form of natural healthcare takes a holistic (whole-person) approach, meaning I don’t simply treat the symptoms, but I help to bring back into balance whatever is blocked, stuck, or deficient in you.

Anxiety, stress and depression have many causes. As a kinesiologist, I use muscle response testing to check your body’s energy levels and to identify where there are hormonal, nervous system, digestive, or environmental stress-related problems underneath. I then use a number of techniques to release the blocks or toxins and improve any nutritional deficiencies. The results can be remarkable: you bounce back, feeling able to enjoy life more fully.

It could be that the anxiety is so familiar, you don’t know who you would be without it, while depression can be a comfort of sorts. Stress can be oddly energising when it’s familiar. I also work with you to gently lift your self-esteem and ability to love yourself so that without the anxiety and depression you become authentically happier. You deserve to enjoy life.

I have ten years of therapeutic experience with kinesiology, and have been offering support to people with these and all types of health concerns one-to-one in Somerset for 8 years.

If you find the prospect of kinesiology appealing or intriguing, or if you are seeking a return to experiencing its many benefits, please get in touch by phone or email. I will be happy to offer you a free 15-minute discovery call during which we will explore and agree how I can best help you with where you are right now.

A new service I recently began offering to all clients is a personalised post-session report, detailing the areas we worked on. Feedback from clients is very encouraging: it will help you to reflect on the changes you are experiencing during or because of your kinesiology sessions with me– benefits which can be either subtle or obvious, but which are always cumulative! I strongly recommend a minimum of six sessions to gain the maximum benefit.
