What is PSYCH-K?
Painful, seemingly, hard-wired memories and beliefs that are created during difficult times can be neutralised using this mind-based psychology tool. Stresses, traumas, abuse, bullying, unhelpful habits, anxiety, disordered eating, self-sabotage and hateful self-talk, as well as low self-esteem etc can seem set to haunt us forever but it needn’t be that way.
How can it be that we can have the same painful experiences in romantic relationships, despite being with different people and over a long period of time? It only takes one painful memory to create negative assumptions about how we will be treated in future relationships. The belief comes in because we want to insure ourselves against the same pain happening again, but what happens is we unintentionally seek to identify the same thing in others so we can avoid it, but at the same time we end up attracting that which we fear the most. It’s very common to play out the same scenario time and time again because we don’t feel worthy of anything better. This is a well-known premise of the law of attraction.
Pronounced sigh-kay, PSYCH-K® is an energy psychology system that is used to calm stress and negative emotional intensity. It is also used to create new positive beliefs to empower you to enjoy your life more and reach your goals in any area of life, such as relationships, weight loss, money, work/career progression, self-confidence and joy.
PSYCH-K can help you undo the damage of old beliefs and wire in new ones that will support you. When we are relaxed, optimistic and have positive beliefs we naturally attract experiences, people, circumstances that align with this self-assuredness and effortlessly leave behind what we no longer align with.
How do I help you using PSYCH-K?
When working one-to-one with someone I firstly seek to understand why the undesired, or painful experience is happening or why it happened, from the perspective of receiving the ‘message’ from your body, life, soul, ego or child self etc. I can also discover if the issue relates to your ancestral line or a past life and release that too. We then seek to resolve the presenting symptom using PSYCH-K balances (or a kinesiology technique if clearly more relevant) so the experience no longer manifests in your reality.
It is useful to spot any sneaky self-sabotage that arises out of low self-worth, and any underlying resistance and address that gently and directly. For many years I went to different therapists, really wanting help, but underneath I was also wanting to push people away, to prove that I was impossible to help, so it’s an area I can spot in others. It was an interesting conflict and when my own self-awareness had grown enough I could then understand what was going on and address it with those who wanted to help me, accepting the help I sought at last.
What is a PSYCH-K balance?
A PSYCH-K balance increases the cross-talk between the two hemispheres of the brain, achieving a ‘whole-brained state’ so we are able to feel neutral about old fears and stresses, and know that our goals and desires to feel peace, love, joy, connection much more of the time etc are now perfectly possible and confident that they are within reach.
Feelings of not being good enough, undeserving, lacking self-esteem and self-love are very common and are very good at hiding behind unpleasant life experiences and negative self-talk. It’s very powerful and freeing to discover and understand these inner saboteurs, then release them using PSYCH-K.
We then move on to create new positive belief statements to install into your mind, supporting you to reach the goals you want, feeling much more positive, confident and at peace at the same time.
How many sessions would you need?
Issues that you want to get rid of can have many layers or past experiences related to them, and so take time to unravel. Social phobias for example can have many strong memories attached and are best addressed layer by layer, but with each layer cleared up the issue disappears and benefits snowball. Patience is a virtue while the process takes place. I would recommend six sessions as a standard.
